Antilla shipwreck
HomeDiving spotsAntilla shipwreck

The Antilla shipwreck is Aruba’s most famous dive site and maybe also its most impressive. The 121,4 metres/400 feet, 4363-ton freighter was built in 1939 in Germany and sunk down in 1940 by its own captain. After all these years on the bottom of the sea, the ship has broken down in pieces, making penetration impossible. However, there is lots of marine life and corals around it, making it a beautiful and mesmerizing dive site!
